Dr. Robert Jeffress Honored with NRB's William Ward Ayer Award for Distinguished Service
At this year's NRB Convention, Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Dallas and voice of Pathway to Victory, was honored with the prestigious William Ward Ayer Award for Distinguished Service.
Named after NRB's first President, the William Ward Ayer Award celebrates leaders who have made a lasting and positive impact in Christian broadcasting. Previous recipients include Pat Robertson, John Ankerberg, Dr. Erwin Lutzer, and Luis Palau — ministers whose faithfulness helped shape the landscape of Gospel-centered media.
"I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from NRB," said Dr. Jeffress. "Our mission has always been to pierce the darkness with the light of God's Word, and this award is a testament to the power of the Gospel to transform lives."
Pathway to Victory spreads the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world through bold, biblical, and practical teaching. The program seeks to confront a culture increasingly at odds with biblical truth while equipping believers to apply Scripture to their everyday lives. To learn more about the program, visit ptv.org.
