As our teams work in crisis areas of the world, people often ask, “Why did you come?” The answer is always the same: “We have come to help you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Our ministry is all about Jesus—first, last, and always.

On the Ground with Samaritan's Purse is a podcast-turned-broadcast that takes you to the frontlines and behind the scenes of this ministry’s work around the world. Samaritan’s Purse was founded in 1970, and since then, their mission has been to be first on the ground, worldwide, in the aftermath of catastrophic events where many are in need of physical necessities like food, water, shelter, and medical care.

In this half-hour weekend program, Host Kristy Graham gives listeners a behind-the-scenes look at how Samaritan’s Purse operates in the field via firsthand accounts from staff, volunteers, and the people they serve. It challenges listeners to join those suffering around the world in prayer and gives personal applications that draw all of us to focus on how we too can be the hands and feet of Jesus in our own communities. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few …” so let’s do this!
