A former attorney from Scotland turned pastor, John brings more than 30 years of pastoral experience to the microphone, offering a clear, no-nonsense approach to Scripture that challenges listeners to examine their own lives in light of God’s truth. Each episode invites believers and seekers alike to render a personal “verdict” in response to the Gospel. As Senior Pastor of Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC, Pastor Munro is committed to faithfully preaching God’s Word and helping people of all backgrounds grow in authentic faith and discipleship.

John is Senior Pastor at Calvary Church in Charlotte North Carolina. and has served in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years. His passion is to glorify God through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God and shepherd souls. A graduate of Edinburgh University, John formerly practiced law in Scotland. When God called John to full-time pastoral ministry, he and his wife, Gudny, moved to Texas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary, where he graduated with Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
